When my hands are in a better position to do alt text I'll upload more pics, but I did a big walk from North Shields to Whitley Bay yesterday!

It made me realise how much I'd love to live in this part of the world eventually. I want to hit 10 years on (nhs prescription) T before risking moving GP, and to also have left my care job before moving.

But maybe one day it's something I could look into

I remember this day well. My whole family at the coast. It was cloudy and cool, which was perfect for our liking. We laughed and played. There were some arguments. We ate sugar. And pizza. We dipped our feet in the cold water. Felt the coarse sand between our toes. It was gritty and uncomfortable. We removed it with baby powder. We drove home at the end of the day. Tired. Well fed. One trip of many like it. Same recipe but new every time.

Feeling a bit down. Might post some pics for a hit of dopamine.

This one was taken during winter years ago at Humboldt Bay in Arcata, CA. If you know what kind of flowers those were, I’d love it if you shared!

Edit: thank you everybody for the dopamine 🥹

FEMA quietly removes access to New England coastal erosion hazard tool

The Coastal Erosion Hazard viewer on the Federal Emergency Management Agency website "predicted erosion risk across the coast for the years 2030, 2050, and 2100, and until recently was publicly accessible."
