Someone has critizized me for this post because a website has rated AP News as "left".

Ignoring the debate on whether this is true: This is a terrible argument. This does not disprove anything.

I have no reason to believe this is fake news, it is consistent with similar news like this one:

Looks like the US gov't really is going after science. Sad but true. 🙁 But I’m glad to hear people fight back.

@Wuzzy Might want to fact check your sources.... 😐

@TwodpadsDown @Wuzzy I have to admit to not using their scale, but using a journalism scale used in education by the professors who are the foremost experts in journalism in the country, and possibly the world, I did rate AP as right about neutral. I do not rate editorial articles that are clearly marked editorial articles because those are opinion pieces. I don't care about their opinions, I care about their news. AP came close to neutral, NPR came close to neutral, and BBC coverage of US and Canadian news was pretty neutral, by my scale.

@Wuzzy

I've recently seen the JDVance clip where he says that Universities are the enemy.
The part often left out is the one where he says why : because Universities do research that legitimate [claims that are against the fascist agenda]¹.

These people have no notion of the possibility of an objective truth; everything is for them a question of conflicting narratives, that is to be solved by force.
