A SaaS supplier called Conduent appears to have gone missing in action.
There's lots of social media posts saying they've been having a system outage for over a week. Conduent are telling media it's a "service interruption". They were hit with ransomware in 2020 on their Citrix environment.
Conduent haven't filed anything with SEC for a cyber incident, which is a legal requirement.
"service interruption" is the exact same terminology Conduent used in 2020 - they ended up being outed by the ransomware group.
Conduent decline to comment to TechCrunch about if the issue is cybersecurity related. https://techcrunch.com/2025/01/21/govtech-giant-conduent-wont-rule-out-cyberattack-as-outage-drags-on/
Conduent have now issued a carefully worded statement saying they "experienced an operational disruption due to a third-party compromise” of one of their "operating systems".
Missing are the words 'cyber' and 'ransomware'.
They won't comment on if it's ransomware. More on that soon.

Conduent have now confirmed they have a “cyber incident” but released no details. Still no 8-K filing with the SEC.

@GossiTheDog the phrase "no outages related to security at Conduent" seems specifically and very carefully constructed.
@GossiTheDog perfect time to get rid of CISA.
