Ethics statement:
- I do not work for a cybersecurity vendor (or an MSSP, MSP, etc)
- I do not own shares in any cybersecurity company, tech company etc
- I do not have any shorts in any company
- I’m busy in the trenches dealing with attackers typing “../..” to get root access and such.
This all applies retrospectively too, with the exception of when I worked at Microsoft 2020-2021. They gave me a $1 share.
Additional:
- I earn nothing from my social media.
- I don’t do paid toots or tweets or blogs etc.
- I don’t do talks, conferences etc.
- I don’t accept paid private briefing offers.

@GossiTheDog isn't the idea of giving employees shares to make them more invested in the success of the company? They should have given you at least $5!
@weddige I think they gave me something like £40k shares but I left before they vested, I had to wait another year to get them and yolo’d out of it
