Yes, the TL where the Treaty of Union created a federal state of England, Netherlands, Scotland (& latterly Ireland) resulting in an enduring white supremacist Empire still controlling over three-quarters of the world in the C21st isn't the best one. Especially with the increase in early industrialisation bringing about massive climate change half a century earlier.
